Accessibility

I want this site to work for everyone who visits it — and I'd rather hear about a problem than have you leave.

My commitment

I want this site to be usable by people who use screen readers, keyboards, voice control or magnification, and by anyone who finds small text or low contrast hard to read.

I aim for WCAG 2.1 Level AA and keep improving it. The site is something I build and maintain myself, so when something falls short I can fix it directly.

What that means in practice

  • Everything works from the keyboard — you can reach and use every link and control without a mouse.
  • Links and controls have clear labels, so screen readers and voice control know what they do.
  • Text and background keep enough contrast, and the page still works when you zoom or enlarge text.
  • Information is never carried by color alone.
  • Images that matter are described; decorative ones are hidden from assistive tech.

If something isn't working

Email me and I'll fix it. Mention the page and what you were trying to do — that's all I need to reproduce it.
